Monday, May 23: The ICAR-CII Industry Meet 2011 will be held in New Delhi. Minister of Agriculture & Food Processing Industries, Sharad Pawar, will give the inaugural address. The objective of this meeting is to exchange information about new technologies developed by agriculture universities and to bridge the gap between the needs of farmers and the universities.

Tuesday, May 24: The Indian Olympic Association will convene its first executive board meeting since the arrest of the committee's President Suresh Kalmadi to discuss future plans. Mr. Kalmadi was arrested last month by the Central Bureau of Investigation for his alleged involvement in a Commonwealth Games corruption scandal.
U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is set to begin a four-day visit to India. Her tour will launch the India-US Homeland Security Dialogue, which aims to increase cooperation between the two countries.
